In the morining, after an awesome breakfast, everyone had a chance to looke at scooters at the site.

Stony's Lambretta This is Stony's Lambretta with Nitrogen Injection. Great job, and I think even Biff would appreciate this kind of dedicated work. There were more nice scooters, like an awesome restored SS180 from St.Louis.

Some really rare models showed up too, like this Cushman from the late 40's or early 50's. Sorry for the bad picture... but believe me, you're not missing all that much. Some weird facts about it: The throttle turns the other way, and that takes some getting used to (if you want to go slower, your intuitive twist makes you actually accelerate). It has an automatic transmition and gives the impression to not change rpms ever, so the sound is this constant growl that just gets louder when you kick it a little.

Chelsea's Cushman

Eventually the Best-of-All scooter had to be voted and there was a tie between Stony (of course) and (the proudest I have ever seen him) Paul from the Kickback S.C. in Lawrence! His Vespa is an Allstate 125, with the split headset. The front fork was replaced by a Rally fork and the engine is from a 200cc Rally. He hopes to put a Malossi and a PM exhaust on there soon. To kick my ass in acceleration. We'll see! The winners


Boz jumps Here are two more pictures of people jumping the ramp. The first one is Boz, of course an Aboriginal, during a rice. The second picture shows a maniac actually lying down after the ramp for the scooterist to fly over him. Kewl. Maniac jump


The rally was ended by a tragic accident, when Stony crashed on the Beast in a relay race. The ambulance had to pick him up. I believe he is up and running again, to show us more awesome scooters like his Lambretta.
